Simplewire offers test phone numbers, allowing users to test applications running on its Wireless Messaging Network.

Network Test Phone Numbers are fully working mobile identification numbers (PIN, MIN, or also known as MSISDN) that developers can use to test certain portions of their application. Within the Wireless Messaging Network, the following network test phone numbers will work:

These phone numbers only work within the Simplewire Wireless Messaging Network.

Phone Number Format Purpose Returns
+11005101234 United States country code followed by a United States national number Tests your network connection to ensure that your application can correctly communicate between the SMS Software Development Kit and the Wireless Messaging Network. Will return an error code of 2 and will NOT return a valid ticket id since this number is purely used to test the network connection between your application and our network.
+11005xxxxxx United States country code and the xxxxxx represents the range of numbers that are routed to a Simplewire Virtual Phone. Tests your network connection, message formatting, message length, and message content types by allowing you to deliver a message to a Virtual Mobile Phone in your Developer Program Virtual Inbox. Will initially return an error code of 2 and then mimics successful message delivery by changing to an error code of 4. You can also then view the full message in Your Account. Note that you can also enter an invalid phone number and later check the status of your message which should be 410.
